ABOUT ME
Marnie Clemens PT, DPT, WCS, OCS, FAAOMPT
I am a voracious reader and gather lots of information on a variety of things. I have started this blog to share information and ideas that are useful, interesting, or just plain because I want to. The primary audience for this blog is people with pain or women’s health issues, or those who are interested in the topics.
I am a physical therapist who works with chronic pain, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and women’s health issues. My practice, Clemens Physical Therapy, pllc is located in Bridgeport, West Virginia. I received my PT degree from West Virginia University and my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh. I also hold a Psychology degree from Marshall University.
I will try to post and moderate comments as frequently as I can, but patients and family take priority. I have a full-time-plus-some job in seeing patients and running my practice.
Despite all the letters after my name, it doesn’t mean I’m a "smarty pants", it just means I care enough to keep learning. If you care what each means see Alphabet Soup below. My main qualification is that I want to help people. So please, read and be helped!
(Warning: I think physical therapy is pretty awesome and shamelessly promote PT throughout this blog. This does not mean that this is the only treatment option)
